Emily is a licensed bilingual (English/Spanish) speech-language pathologist and reading specialist with almost 10 years of experience working with pediatric clients in outpatient hospital, home health and public school settings. She maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensure through the State of Colorado.  

Prior to founding Hello Lango, her previous work and clinical practicum experience include: Children’s Hospital Colorado (CO), MGA Homecare (CO), Massachusetts General Hospital (MA), Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (MA), Watertown Middle School (MA).

Emily has expertise in providing diagnostic and intervention services to clients with a wide range of speech, language and learning needs. Common diagnoses addressed include Developmental Language Disorder,  Language-Based Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Communication Disorder, Speech Sound Disorder, and Fluency Disorder.  

Emily uses a family-centered approach to care in which the child and caregiver are supported in order to reach optimal language and learning results. While the client will be receiving the direct intervention, family support is provided to ensure that caregivers feel confident and empowered to continue supporting their child outside of sessions.

Emily lives in Littleton with her husband and dog Jacques. In her free time she enjoys cooking, playing board games, traveling, and spending time hiking and snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains.
